We are seeking an experienced Kinaxis Consultant with strong expertise in Kinaxis RapidResponse implementation, configuration, customization, and support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Supply Chain Planning processes, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), along with strong technical capabilities in workbook development, integrations, automation, and production support.

The consultant will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, solution architects, and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize planning solutions that improve visibility, forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall supply chain performance. The role requires a strong understanding of enterprise planning processes, data integration frameworks, and Kinaxis best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Kinaxis Solution Design & Implementation :

- Implement, configure, and support Kinaxis RapidResponse solutions across various supply chain planning functions.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Kinaxis configurations and planning models.

- Participate in end-to-end implementation projects including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

- Configure planning applications to support demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, capacity planning, and S&OP processes.

- Work closely with business users to identify process gaps and recommend system improvements.

Workbook & Dashboard Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain standard and advanced Kinaxis workbooks, worksheets, and composite workbooks.

- Create interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions to support executive and operational decision-making.

- Develop customized views and analytics to provide real-time visibility into supply chain performance.

- Optimize workbook performance and usability to enhance user experience.

Automation & Workflow Management :

- Configure and maintain alerts, filters, automation chains, scheduled tasks, and workflow processes within Kinaxis.

- Develop automated planning processes to reduce manual effort and improve planning accuracy.

- Monitor scheduled jobs and automation processes to ensure seamless system operations.

- Support business users in adopting automation capabilities and best practices.

Integration & Data Management :

- Design and support integrations between Kinaxis and enterprise systems such as SAP, ERP platforms, WMS, MES, and other third-party applications.

- Work with WebAPI and integration frameworks to facilitate data exchange between systems.

- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and synchronization across integrated applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, data loading issues, and interface-related problems.

- Collaborate with integration teams to optimize data flows and improve system reliability.

Support & Enhancements :

- Provide production support and issue resolution for Kinaxis applications.

- Investigate and troubleshoot system, configuration, and data-related issues.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective solutions.

- Support change requests, enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.

- Ensure timely resolution of incidents while maintaining service-level agreements.

Testing & Deployment :

- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and validation scripts for system enhancements and implementations.

- Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.

- Validate solution quality and ensure business requirements are met before production rollout.

- Support post-go-live stabilization and user adoption activities.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Work directly with business stakeholders, planners, supply chain teams, and leadership to understand planning challenges and requirements.

- Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution walkthroughs.

- Provide functional and technical guidance to users regarding Kinaxis capabilities and best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Documentation & Governance :

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, integrations, business processes, and technical solutions.

- Ensure adherence to organizational governance standards, security policies, and implementation

methodologies.

- Support audit and compliance requirements related to planning systems and data management.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse.

- Strong functional knowledge of Supply Chain Planning processes, including :

a. Demand Planning

e. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

- Experience in end-to-end Kinaxis implementation, enhancement, and support projects.

- Strong expertise in :

g. Automation Chains

- Scheduled Tasks

- Experience configuring and maintaining planning applications within Kinaxis.

- Good understanding of Kinaxis data models and planning architecture.

- Hands-on experience with Kinaxis scripting and customization capabilities.

- Strong experience with WebAPI integrations and external system interfaces.

- Knowledge of data migration, data validation, and data quality management.

- Experience integrating Kinaxis with SAP or other ERP systems.

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.

- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or fast-paced project environments.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience integrating Kinaxis with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.

- Exposure to Supply Chain Analytics and Reporting solutions.

- Understanding of enterprise planning architecture and data modeling concepts.

- Experience in client-facing consulting and stakeholder management roles.

- Knowledge of forecasting methodologies and supply chain optimization techniques.

- Experience with cloud-based enterprise planning solutions.

- Kinaxis RapidResponse Certification is highly preferred.

- Experience supporting global supply chain operations and large-scale implementations.
