As the Integration Engineer, you will build and prototype integration solutions, primarily APIs and Event-Driven Architectures, to empower our Data & Analytics teams with timely and relevant data. You'll partner with our Data Product Owners to enable and elevate Integrations as a Product, in order to drive more findability, accessibility, interoperability and re-usability within the integration landscape.
- Partner with a cross-vendor team of platform & product owners, technical experts, & other specialists to build and deliver integration solutions for Data Products, in order to optimize upon investments and aligning integrations against findability, accessibility, interoperability and re-usability goals
- Implement best practices around systems integration, security, performance and data management
- Collaborate with internal clients (data science and product teams) to drive solutioning and POC discussions
- Implement DevOps, DataOps and Agile methodologies to improve KPIs like cycle times, consistency, and quality
- Implement hybrid integration solutions addressing data and application integration needs, and cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premise, and on-premise-to-on-premise scenarios
- Continuously search for ways to eliminate redundancies & inefficiencies while streamlining costs to reinvest in new innovations through technology lifecycle management & total cost of ownership
Required Qualifications :
- 3 - 5 years of total work experience, with at least 1-2 years of experience in APIs and Event-Driven Architectures
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS and data management tools such as Azure Data factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks and Snowflake
- Understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices
- Experience in the design and build of end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements
and adhere to scalability, reliability, and security standards
- Familiarity with version control systems like Bitbucket, Jenkins and DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with APIs and Event-Driven Integrations with experience in Azure architecture design is preferred
- Experience in the architecture and design of services using Azure architecture is a plus
- Experience with IoT integrations is a plus
- Experience with Kong API gateway, Kafka, and/or Python FastAPI is preferred
