Job Title : Junior Software Business Analyst

Experience : 1-4 Years

Location : Mumbai

Role Overview :

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst who is eager to learn and contribute to building fintech products.

You will support senior team members in requirement gathering, documentation, and execution across lending and financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and workflows

- Work closely with product, tech, and operations teams to understand requirements

- Support in translating business needs into functional specifications

- Participate in API integration discussions with vendors and fintech partners

- Help coordinate with fintech partners for loan integrations and data exchange

- Assist in UAT testing, test case preparation, and issue tracking

- Perform basic data analysis and validation using Excel/SQL

- Document processes, flows, and system behavior clearly

- Support in identifying process improvements and automation opportunities

- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to improve user experience and flows

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 1+ year of experience as a Business Analyst / Associate BA / Product Analyst

- Basic understanding of fintech or lending products (loans, BNPL, EWA, etc.)

- Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and system integrations

- Understanding of user stories, use cases, and basic process flows

- Hands-on experience with Excel, JIRA, Confluence (SQL is a plus)

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and willingness to learn

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments

Good to Have :

- Exposure to credit bureau data or KYC processes

- Basic understanding of loan lifecycle (eligibility ? disbursal ? repayment)

- Familiarity with tools like Postman for API testing
