We are seeking a strong multi-tasker and detail-oriented Information Security Engineer with Blockchain experience to protect traditional networks, systems, cloud environments, and blockchain/Web3 infrastructures.

You will monitor for breaches across hybrid setups, lead incident response and forensic investigations (including blockchain forensics), conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing remediation, architect secure cloud migrations (AWS & GCP), implement firewalls/load balancers, automate security operations, audit smart contracts, harden blockchain protocols against exploits, and ensure compliance & resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Hands-on expertise in networking, general cybersecurity, automation, and blockchain-specific security is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

- Monitor networks, systems, and blockchain nodes for security breaches/intrusions; lead incident response, minimize impact, conduct technical/forensic investigations (including on-chain analysis), and prepare management reports

- Perform periodic vulnerability scans, analyze penetration testing results, prioritize/drive remediation for traditional and blockchain systems

- Design/implement/maintain secure cloud infrastructure: VPCs, subnets, routing, peering, hybrid connectivity across AWS & GCP

- Deploy/manage load balancing (ALB, ELB, Gateway Load Balancer) and firewalls (policy, NAT, VPN - L2L/RA/SSL)

- Install/configure security tools: firewalls, data encryption, privilege access management, proxies, authentication

- Conduct smart contract auditing, threat modeling, and protocol hardening for blockchain applications

- Identify & mitigate blockchain-specific exploits: reentrancy, flash loans, integer overflows, and other vulnerabilities

- Build automation/tooling with Python, Ansible, Terraform for deployments, CI/CD (GitHub), and operational efficiency (including audit scripting)

- Develop/enforce security standards, best practices, policies, recovery strategies, and regulatory compliance (SOX, PCI, Cybersecurity, MiCA/FATF/DPDP for blockchain)

- Manage monitoring/alerting (CloudWatch, Nagios/Grafana/SNMP), observability dashboards, and periodic health reports

- Troubleshoot low-level (packet-level) network/application protocols; handle SSH port forwarding, Linux/RHEL CLI

- Provide after-hours/on-call support, open vendor cases, coordinate with auditors, and collaborate across teams

- Enforce policies for system installation, redundancy, monitoring; remediate issues to meet business needs

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years firewall configuration (policy, NAT, VPN); Palo Alto & Cisco ASA experience a plus 5+ years Cisco routing/switching (strong L2/L3 understanding)

- 3+ years Citrix NetScaler/ADC experience

- 3-6+ years overall IT network/security engineering/support, with proven blockchain security experience

- Hands-on cloud security/migration (AWS & GCP): VPC, load balancing, CloudWatch, containerless architectures

- Proficiency in automation/scripting: Python (preferred), Ansible, Terraform; GitHub CI/CD Deep knowledge of security technologies: firewalls, load balancing, proxy, authentication, SNMP monitoring

- Strong troubleshooting : packet-level analysis, Linux/RHEL CLI, SSH forwarding

- Experience with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing remediation, incident response/forensics

- Blockchain Security Expertise : Smart contract auditing (tools like Slither, Mythril, Certora, Echidna for fuzzing), vulnerability assessment (reentrancy attacks, flash loans, integer overflows, exploits), familiarity with Solidity/Rust for code reviews, Python for scripting audits Cryptography & Encryption

- Advanced knowledge of asymmetric encryption, data keys, ECDSA, Merkle trees, cryptography principles, quantum-resistant security

- Security Practices : DevSecOps (CI/CD pipelines, intrusion/malware detection), threat modeling, secure architecture in cloud environments, protocol hardening, privilege separation, emergency controls

- Emerging Trends : Regulatory compliance auditing, AI-driven threat detection; certifications like OSCP, CEH, or blockchain security a plus

- Excellent communication: convey complex technical issues in non-technical terms; provide written documentation & network diagrams

- Self-starter: organized, flexible, results-oriented; multi-task with minimal supervision; full ownership of task

- Knowledge of Arista networks a plus; scripting (Perl/Python) & config tools (Ansible/Puppet/Chef) preferred
