JSW One Platforms - Technical Program Manager

Role :

As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in guiding complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment. You will work closely with cross functional teams to define objectives, scope, and deliverables, while proactively managing risks and ensuring high-quality project outcomes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Preliminary Planning & Strategy Development :

- Assist in early-stage planning discussions to define project objectives, scope, constraints, risks, and deliverables.

Project Management :

- Manage day-to-day activities of the project team within an Agile/Scrum environment, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and meeting sprint goals.

- Oversee upgrades and progressive releases for existing products, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.

Technical Leadership :

- Lead the debugging and new templatization efforts for SMS/Email communication, ensuring high performance and reliability.

- Solution and building complex architectural features and functionalities, driving technical innovation and efficiency.

Quality Assurance :

- Ensure the highest quality of project delivery, reducing the failure rate & driving successful sprints.

Risk Management :

- Manage and mitigate risks across 10+ large strategies and initiatives, proactively resolving conflicts and making recommendations to balance competing priorities.

Operational Efficiency :

- Increase operational efficiency by establishing metrics and SOPs for communication, leadership updates, work transparency, and visibility.

- Track and monitor post-deployment/implementation issues, leveraging lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Documentation & Communication :

- Create detailed documentation, including BRDs, FSDs, SOWs, user stories, process flow diagrams, system architecture diagrams, and functional and technical specifications, explicitly covering edge cases and scenarios.

- Proactively manage scope changes, prioritization, and facilitate decision-making to keep sprint goals aligned.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role in a technology-driven environment.

- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience managing cross-functional teams.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to increase operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

- Experience with creating comprehensive technical documentation and managing project trade-offs.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms and modern software development practices.

- Strong technical background with experience in software development, system architecture, or related fields.

- Proven track record of delivering projects with high quality and within tight timelines.
