Role Overview :

The Delivery Head Data will be responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of data, analytics, and AI/ML projects across global clients. This role requires a strategic leader who can ensure successful execution of complex data programs, drive innovation, manage delivery excellence, and strengthen client relationships while building and scaling high-performing data teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Delivery Leadership :

- Own delivery accountability for all data and analytics programs across multiple clients.

- Ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery with measurable business outcomes.

- Drive adherence to best practices in data engineering, data governance, cloud migration, and analytics delivery.

Client & Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the primary delivery partner for client leadership teams.

- Proactively manage expectations, resolve escalations, and ensure client satisfaction.

- Support account growth by identifying new opportunities in data, AI, and digital transformation.

People & Team Management :

- Build, mentor, and lead global delivery teams across data engineering, data science, BI, and cloud platforms.

- Drive a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and performance excellence.

- Ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization across projects.

Strategic Delivery Excellence :

- Establish delivery frameworks, governance models, and KPIs for large-scale data engagements.

- Champion agile and DevOps methodologies in data program execution.

- Partner with solutioning, pre-sales, and CoE teams to design scalable delivery models.

Technology & Innovation :

- Stay ahead of industry trends in Data, AI/ML, GenAI, and Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Foster innovation by driving adoption of automation, accelerators, and reusable frameworks.

- Collaborate with product/solution teams to enhance data delivery capabilities.

Key Skills & Competencies :

- Proven experience in managing large-scale data platform, cloud data engineering, and advanced analytics programs.

- Strong leadership in managing global delivery centers/teams.

- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks), ETL, data governance, MDM, BI/Visualization (Power BI, Tableau), AI/ML.

- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar P&L.

- Excellent client engagement, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational delivery.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.

- 15 to 20 years of IT experience with at least 78 years in Data/Analytics leadership.

- Prior experience in consulting, IT services, or global delivery leadership role is highly desirable.
