We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java (8+) and Spring Boot, along with a solid understanding of distributed systems, API development, and production support.

This role requires an individual who can take ownership of modules, contribute to system design, and solve complex production issues, while collaborating effectively within cross-functional Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot

- Build and manage microservices architecture, ensuring high availability and performance

- Take end-to-end ownership of features/modules, from development to deployment

- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless system integration

- Work closely with product managers, QA, and DevOps teams for efficient delivery

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks

- Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows

- Continuously improve system reliability, scalability, and efficiency

Required Technical Skills :

Core Skills (Must-Have) :

Java (8+) - Ownership Level :

- Strong hands-on experience with deep understanding of OOPs, collections, multithreading, and performance tuning

Spring Boot - Ownership Level :

- Experience in building production-grade applications, dependency injection, REST APIs, and application configuration

Architecture & Development :

Microservices - Hands-on :

- Experience in developing and working with distributed systems and service-based architecture

Supporting Skills :

Kafka - Exposure :

- Basic understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging systems

Git - Exposure :

- Familiarity with version control, branching strategies, and collaboration workflows

- Ability to analyze logs, identify issues, and collaborate on resolving production problems
