Role Overview :

As a Java Backend Developer at UK based product MNC, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the core backend systems that drive our financial platforms. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and resilient solutions. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our systems, ensuring seamless operations for our clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and resilient backend services using Java, Spring, and Hibernate to meet the evolving needs of our financial platforms.

- Implement and maintain microservices architecture, ensuring seamless communication and data flow between different components to enhance system flexibility and maintainability.

- Integrate Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing, enabling efficient handling of high-volume transactional data.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems, ensuring a smooth user experience.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability, reducing the risk of production issues.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with operations teams to minimize downtime and maintain system stability.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

- Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical feasibility.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and develop robust and scalable backend systems using Java, Spring, and Hibernate.

- Proven experience in building and deploying microservices architectures, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.

- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.

- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.

- Proficiency in working with Linux environments.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to adapt to an on-site work environment in Delhi NCR.
