Payroll : Quess Corp

Client : Airtel Payments Bank

We are hiring Java Backend Developers to work with Airtel Payments Bank, a leading fintech platform backed by Bharti Airtel. This role offers the opportunity to build and scale high-performance backend systems used by millions of users across India.

The selected candidate will be on permanent payroll with Quess Corp and deployed on long-term, mission-critical projects at Airtel Payments Bank.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot

- Build and manage microservices-based architecture

- Work with Kafka and event-driven systems for high-throughput data processing

- Contribute to system design (HLD & LLD) for highly available and fault-tolerant systems

- Ensure performance optimization, reliability, and security of applications

- Collaborate with product, architecture, and cross-functional engineering teams

- Participate in code reviews and improve engineering best practices

Technical Skills (Mandatory) :

- Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot

- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture

- Experience working with Kafka or similar messaging systems

- Strong DSA and problem-solving skills

- Solid understanding of System Design concepts

- Experience building scalable, distributed systems

Good to Have :

- Experience in fintech, banking, or payments domain

- Exposure to high TPS / low latency systems

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
