Java/AWS Architect - Microservices Architecture

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure solutions leveraging Java and AWS services.

- Lead the design and implementation of microservices-based architectures.

- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure architectural alignment with business goals.

- Define cloud strategies, including designing for high availability, scalability, and cost optimization using AWS services.

- Drive the adoption of best practices in cloud architecture, application development, and deployment.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the development process.

- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and streamline workflows.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in cloud environments.

- Ensure the applications meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and architects.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 12+ years of experience in Java development and architecture.

- Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and others.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

- Hands-on experience with cloud-native application development and deployment.

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.

- Proficient in CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

- Ability to design solutions that optimize cost, performance, and scalability.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
