Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java ATG Developer to join our team in Trivandrum/Thiruvananthapuram. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable e-commerce solutions using Java, ATG, and Spring Boot.

You will collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality software that meets business requirements and enhances the customer experience. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and functionality of our client's e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and efficient online shopping experience for their customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and secure e-commerce applications using Java, ATG, and Spring Boot for our clients.

- Implement and customize ATG Commerce components, including product catalog, pricing, promotions, and order management, to meet specific business needs.

- Integrate ATG applications with other enterprise systems, such as CRM, ERP, and payment gateways, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices, to ensure maintainability and scalability.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers, fostering a collaborative and high-quality development environment.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions, to minimize downtime and ensure system stability.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in Java programming, with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.

- Extensive experience in developing e-commerce applications using ATG Commerce platform, including knowledge of its core components and functionalities.

- Solid understanding of Spring Boot framework and its application in building RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Ability to design and implement database schemas and queries using relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
