Java Architect - Microservices Architecture

Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Architect with strong AWS expertise to design and lead scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining architecture, ensuring best practices, and driving cloud-native solution design using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture

- Lead cloud-native application development on AWS

- Define system architecture, integration patterns, and deployment strategies

- Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of applications

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

- Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and cross-functional teams

- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards

Technical Skills Required :

Core Java & Backend :

- Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud

- Experience with Microservices architecture & RESTful APIs

- Strong understanding of Design Patterns and SOLID principles

- Experience with Hibernate/JPA

AWS Cloud Expertise :

1. AWS EC2,AWS S3,AWS Lambda

2. AWS API Gateway,AWS ECS / EKS

- Knowledge of IAM, VPC, Security Groups, and cloud security best practices

DevOps & Tools :

- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)

- Docker & Kubernetes

- Monitoring tools

Database :

- Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)

- NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)

Good to Have :

- AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer)

- Experience in event-driven architecture (Kafka, SNS/SQS)

- Experience in multi-tenant applications

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

Note : Experience in Presales, RFP, proposal, estimation would be an added advantage
