Role Overview :

As an API Engineer at Nasugroup, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable APIs that power our core financial platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers, front-end developers, and other engineering teams to deliver seamless and secure data integration solutions. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our services, ensuring a superior experience for our clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java and related technologies to support various business functionalities.

- Collaborate with front-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure seamless integration with user interfaces.

- Implement and maintain microservices architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and stability of the APIs.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to APIs and microservices.

- Contribute to the development of API documentation and best practices.

- Work with DevOps to automate deployment and monitoring of APIs.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and develop RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

- Proven experience with microservices architecture and related technologies.

- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

- Experience with front-end technologies such as TypeScript and Redux.

- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for automation and tooling.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, agile development environment.

- Java, Redux

- Amazon API Gateway (Good to have)

- Experience developing serverless and step functions(serverless orchestration)

- Microservice development

- Solid understanding of Redux Toolkit for state management

- Typescript is plus
