About the Role :

We are hiring a skilled Server / Database Administrator to manage and maintain server infrastructure and databases in a fast-growing UK/US Tier-1 Cybersecurity & Threat Intelligence environment.

This role is critical in ensuring system performance, security, and reliability across both on-prem and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows & Linux servers

- Manage databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server

- Monitor system performance and perform tuning & optimization

- Implement backup & disaster recovery strategies

- Ensure high availability and data integrity

- Apply patches, upgrades, and security updates

- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams

- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

- Maintain clear technical documentation

Required Skills :

- Proven experience as System Admin / DBA

- Strong Linux administration skills

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Knowledge of scripting & automation (Shell, Ansible, Terraform)

- Understanding of networking & security best practices

- Familiarity with DevOps practices

Bonus Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Database performance tuning & indexing
