Profile Summary :

The IT Technical Credit Risk Business Analyst is a senior contracting role operating at VP / Director level experience within Risk IT.

Initially, the role is responsible for leading the onboarding of a new Expected Positive Exposure (EPE) calculation and the delivery of an associated limit and breach management system for the Universal Bank.

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end business analysis for onboarding a new EPE calculation into the credit risk ecosystem.

- Define functional and non-functional requirements for limit monitoring and breach management.

- Translate counterparty credit risk concepts into implementable technology specifications.

- Own requirements traceability, documentation, and change control.

- Partner with Quantitative Risk, Credit Risk and Technology teams.

- Lead data mapping, lineage definition and reconciliation analysis.

- Support delivery through testing, cutover, and early-life support.

- Act as a senior stakeholder interface across business and technology.

- Candidate is able to understand database schemas, system integration, data pipelines, and architectural trade-offs with developers.

- They need to understand the systems they're specifying for at an implementation level, not just a business-process level.

- Ideally someone who's been embedded in an engineering team before rather than sitting in a separate BA function.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience :

- Tier 1 or Tier 2 Investment Bank experience in Credit Risk Technology.

- Strong expertise in counterparty credit risk exposure (EPE, limits, breaches).

- Proven delivery of risk calculation onboarding initiatives.

- Strong SQL and data analysis capability.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Ability to operate at VP / Director level within governed environments.
