This role manages end-to-end IT operations across a designated region, ensuring the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure, assets, and applications.
The position combines hands-on technical execution with coordination, reporting, training, and field-level support, contributing directly to operational efficiency and digital adoption across teams and locations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end IT operations across the assigned region, ensuring smooth functioning of IT infrastructure, assets, and applications.
- Procure, deploy, and maintain IT assets in line with approved budgets, organisational needs, and IT policies.
- Allocate, tag, track, and safeguard IT equipment such as laptops, mobiles, tablets, projectors, and peripherals, maintaining accurate asset registers and central databases.
- Plan and oversee office IT infrastructure, including internet connectivity, printers, data backups, antivirus compliance, and data confidentiality.
- Coordinate with authorised vendors for repair, maintenance, and servicing of IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and manage software and applications, including Google Workspace, MS Office, Outlook, PMS, and other required tools.
- Manage application access by creating, updating, and closing user IDs, and maintaining up-to-date user databases.
- Provide troubleshooting, technical support, and hands-on assistance for applications and mobile devices, both online and offline.
- Prepare and submit regular IT reports such as monthly summaries, asset status, backup details, action plans, and daily updates.
- Support district and regional teams with IT requirements and issue resolution.
- Conduct school and field visits to monitor IT usage, adoption, and compliance in coordination with HR/Admin teams.
- Deliver IT induction for new joiners and conduct regular training sessions for staff and IT assistants to improve digital adoption.
- Collaborate closely with HR/Admin for onboarding and exit processes, including system access and email ID management.
Requirements :
- Graduate in Computer Science or a relevant technical certification.
- 2-3 years of experience in IT operations or IT service management.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with mobile device troubleshooting and asset management.
- Experience in inventory control and vendor management.
- Strong communication, coordination, and training skills.
- Willingness to travel for field visits and regional IT support.
- Passionate about technology-enabled impact and social outcomes.
