Role Overview :
The Delivery Partner is a crucial leadership role within our client, responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex client engagements and ensuring exceptional service quality. This position serves as a strategic partner to our clients, fostering long-term relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions that meet the client's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Relationship Management :
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, including executive leadership, to understand their business needs, challenges, and strategic goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring effective communication, and representing the company's interests in high-level discussions.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth, cross-selling, and upselling of services by collaborating with Sales and Business Development teams.
Delivery Excellence and Governance :
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of client engagements, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, processes, and methodologies to ensure transparency, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical architects, and subject matter experts, to ensure seamless execution and alignment with client requirements.
- Identify and resolve delivery challenges, escalate issues to senior leadership when necessary, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Strategic Planning and Thought Leadership :
- Develop and execute strategic delivery plans aligned with the client's long-term business objectives and industry trends.
- Provide thought leadership and expertise in relevant technology domains, sharing best practices and innovative solutions to drive business value for the client.
- Identify and propose opportunities for process optimization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance the client's operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
Financial Management :
- Manage and monitor the financial performance of client engagements, ensuring adherence to budgets, and profitability targets.
- Identify and implement cost optimization strategies, including resource utilization, and effective negotiation of contracts and statements of work.
Team Leadership and Development :
- Lead and mentor a team of delivery professionals, including delivery managers, project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent by creating an environment that values diversity, innovation, and career advancement opportunities.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members, ensuring their growth and development align with the company's goals and values.
Qualifications and Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT services delivery, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex client engagements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and organizations.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT service delivery.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks.
- Experience in driving digital, data, AI / ML, and quality engineering initiatives is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in directly managing and overseeing a portfolio ranging from US $10 million to US $20 million or above, showcasing the ability to lead high-stakes, complex engagements successfully.
- Proven experience in working with customers based out of Europe and/or the US, with a deep understanding of the cultural nuances, business practices, and regulatory landscapes in these regions.
- Demonstrated success in building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service to clients in the banking and financial technology (fintech) sectors.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet client needs and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management for client engagements.
