We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Project Manager to lead and manage application-related projects within our organization.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management, a deep understanding of application technologies, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead cross-functional teams including IT, business resources, external partners, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering timelines, milestones, cost estimates, resource allocation, communication, and risk management.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation in accordance with governance requirements and best practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project communications, ensuring regular updates and alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle, balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Proactively manage project risks and issues, ensuring swift action to keep projects on track.
- Ensure all requirements, project plans, and changes are communicated effectively to all team members.
- Facilitate smooth handover to support teams, ensuring seamless transition from project delivery to business-as-usual operations.
- Support organizational change management processes as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Experience: 35 years in project management roles, preferably in IT applications.
- Certifications: Project Management certification preferred (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with ERP implementations, vendor management, and IT application environments is a plus.
- Communication: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to collaborate with global, diverse teams.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering timely solutions.
- Documentation: Ability to prepare structured documentation and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Change Management: Experience supporting change initiatives is a plus.
- Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent in project management or related field.
- Work Environment: Experience working in complex, multinational organizations is preferred.
