About the Role
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst with strong Agile experience to bridge business needs and technical solutions.
The ideal candidate will work closely with product owners, Scrum teams, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into clear, actionable user stories while ensuring alignment with business goals and Agile best practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Elicit, analyze, document, and prioritize business and system requirements in an Agile environment.
- Translate business needs into user stories, epics, features, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain a well-groomed and prioritized product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Ensure requirements are clear, testable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, QA, and UX/UI teams throughout the sprint lifecycle.
- Support sprint execution by clarifying requirements and resolving questions quickly.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and sprint demos.
- Communicate scope, priorities, timelines, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain Agile documentation including user stories, process flows, wireframes, and functional specifications.
- Support UAT planning and execution to validate delivered solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria and business expectations.
- Analyze existing IT systems and business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Agile principles.
- Track and report on requirement status, risks, and dependencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience & Technical Skills :
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Hands-on experience with user story writing and backlog management.
- Knowledge of SDLC and IT system integration concepts.
Proficiency in tools such as :
- JIRA, Confluence
- MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
