IT Administrator - Virtualization Platform

Job Description :

Role Purpose :

- Ensure stable, secure, and high performance IT infrastructure while delivering reliable user support and maintaining compliance with governance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Maintain uptime and performance of networks, servers, and virtualization platforms.

- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery readiness.

- Implement and monitor security controls (firewall, VPN, endpoint protection).

- Ensure patch compliance and mitigate IT risks.

- Provide L1/L2 support with timely incident resolution.

- Maintain IT asset and license inventory with full compliance.

- Prepare MIS reports, audit evidence, and SOP documentation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

- Infrastructure uptime : 99.5%

- Incident MTTR (P1/P2) : 60 minutes

- Patch compliance : 95% within window

- Incident SLA adherence : 95%

- First time resolution rate : 70%

- User satisfaction (CSAT) : 4/5

- Asset & license accuracy : 99%

- Compliance lapses : 0

Candidate Profile :

- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (network, servers, virtualization).

- Experience with endpoint security, firewalls, VPNs, and patch management.

- Familiarity with ISO 27001 / ISMS standards.

- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

- Ability to ensure business continuity under pressure.
