Role : Technology - Team Lead

We are not just hiring a Technology - Team Lead. We are inviting a leader who understands that technology must simplify, support, and scale human journeys.

This role exists to ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

This role is for someone who :

- Thinks in systems, not just features

- Prioritises stability and user experience

- Can translate business requirements into practical tech solutions

- Leads teams with clarity and accountability

This role may be a good fit for you if :

- You have led technology teams in growing organisations

- You have built or scaled platforms that support real users

- You are comfortable working closely with non-tech stakeholders

- You understand trade-offs between speed, quality, and cost

- You take ownership of delivery, not just development

Core Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of backend development (Node.js / Python / Java - any one preferred)

- Experience in building and managing scalable web applications

- Knowledge of API design and integrations (REST APIs)

- Understanding of database systems (MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB)

Frontend & Product Understanding :

- Working knowledge of frontend technologies (React.js / HTML / CSS / JavaScript)

- Ability to collaborate with product/content teams to translate requirements into tech solutions

System & Architecture :

- Experience with system design and architecture for scaling platforms

- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

- Familiarity with deployment pipelines, CI/CD

Tools & Platforms :

- Experience with CRM / LMS / Webinar tools integration (preferred)

- Knowledge of automation tools / workflow systems

- Version control : Git / GitHub / GitLab

Leadership & Execution :

- Experience managing tech teams (2-8 members or more)

- Ability to prioritise features vs stability

- Experience working with cross-functional teams (operations, admissions, content)

Good to Have :

- Experience in EdTech / community platforms

- Understanding of data tracking, analytics, dashboards

- Exposure to no-code / low-code tools

- This role reports into the Director of Operations and works closely with Admissions, Community, and Content teams.

- This is not about writing code in isolation.This is about building technology that strengthens execution.
