Intertec Systems - Storage Engineer - Configuration Management

Responsibilities (includes Tasks And Authorities) :

- Provide Level 3 support for Huawei storage environments, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

- Design, implement, and manage Huawei storage infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute storage migration strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Perform storage capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.

- Develop and maintain documentation for storage configurations, processes, and procedures.

- Provide training and knowledge transfer to Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in storage technologies.

MANDATORY :

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in storage engineering, with a focus on Huawei storage solutions.

- Proven experience in migrating from Hitachi storage systems to Huawei storage solutions.

- Strong knowledge of storage protocols (iSCSI, FC, NFS, CIFS) and storage management tools.

- Proficiency in Huawei storage products, including OceanStor, Dorado, and FusionStorage.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Relevant certifications in Huawei storage technologies are a plus.
