We are looking for an experienced Integration Developer with strong expertise in IBM App Connect (App Connect Professional/ CastIron / App Connect Enterprise) and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to support the migration of enterprise integrations from IBM App Connect to MuleSoft. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in integration development, API implementation, message transformations, and enterprise application integration, along with a strong understanding of integration modernization and API-led architecture.

Key responsibilities:

- Analyze existing IBM App Connect integrations and participate in migration assessments.

- Design and develop MuleSoft integrations using the Anypoint Platform.

- Migrate integration flows, message mappings, transformations, and connectivity configurations from IBM App Connect to MuleSoft.

- Develop Mule applications, APIs, flows, connectors, DataWeave transformations, and error-handling frameworks.

- Implement API-led connectivity patterns and reusable integration components.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.

- Support SIT, UAT, deployment, and production cutover activities.

- Troubleshoot integration issues across multiple enterprise applications and middleware platforms.

- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.

- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and application teams throughout the migration lifecycle.

Required technical skills:

- Strong experience with IBM App Connect (ACP/ACE/CastIron) development and support.

- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

- Experience in Mule 4 development.

- Proficiency in DataWeave 2.0 transformations.

- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, XML, JSON, XSD, and WSDL.

- Experience with HTTP, JMS, MQ, File, SFTP, Database, and API connectors.

- Strong understanding of API-led architecture and enterprise integration patterns.

- Experience with error handling, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, and deployment automation.

- Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, or other enterprise databases.

Preferred skills:

- Experience in IBM App Connect to MuleSoft migration projects.

- Knowledge of Anypoint Exchange, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and CloudHub.

- Experience with healthcare, supply chain, retail, or enterprise integration environments.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

- MuleSoft Developer Certification (preferred).

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5-8 years of enterprise integration experience.

- 2+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-have experience:

- Integration modernization and legacy middleware migration.

- IBM MQ, EDI, HL7, or enterprise messaging platforms.

- Performance tuning of enterprise integrations.

- Production support and release management experience.
