About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced SDE 3 - MERN Stack professional with strong backend expertise and hands-on experience in system design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and building scalable backend systems while ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

This role requires deep backend development experience along with the ability to design distributed systems and drive technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect scalable backend systems and microservices

- Develop robust and high-performance APIs using Node.js and Express.js

- Lead system design discussions and create HLD/LLD documents

- Design optimized database schemas and queries in MongoDB

- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance

- Implement caching, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures

- Optimize application performance and handle high-traffic systems

- Drive code quality through reviews, best practices, and technical mentorship

- Collaborate closely with frontend (React.js), DevOps, and product teams

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6-9 years of backend development experience

- Strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB

- Proven experience in system design and architecture (HLD/LLD)

- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns

- Experience with microservices and distributed systems

- Hands-on experience with Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, or similar tools

- Experience with authentication, authorization, and security best practices

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and containerized deployments

Good to Have :

- Experience in scaling systems to handle large user bases

- Exposure to event-driven architecture

- Experience in performance tuning and monitoring

- Prior experience leading modules or mentoring engineers
