The InRhythm Opportunity :

A major global retail enterprise seeks to accelerate the development of a fiscal compliance integration for their existing Point of Sale (POS) platform across four EMEA markets. You will architect real-time and batch transaction reporting within a high-throughput Java and Node.js stack. As the technical anchor of a fully AI-native pod, you will embed with enterprise squads to pioneer AI-assisted engineering workflows, serving as a coach and architect to redefine how software is delivered at scale.

Your Impact :

You will design AI-integrated delivery models and make critical architectural trade-offs between component boundaries to build a high-performance integration middleware. By aggressively applying GenAI tooling, you will lead your team to achieve a 20% improvement in cycle time, setting a definitive standard for software execution speed and code quality.

What You Will Do :

- Architect AI-integrated software engineering workflows and operating in a native AI-DLC model.

- Define component boundaries for a high-performance integration layer connecting enterprise POS systems to regional fiscal authorities.

- Lead a highly skilled pod, providing technical coaching to teach AI-native software development lifecycle workflows.

- Partner directly with enterprise architecture and procurement leadership to drive technical strategy.

- Maintain rigorous operational discipline by driving daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and bi-weekly retrospectives.

- Enforce automated quality by mandating at least 90% AI-generated unit and integration test coverage.

- Drive delivery velocity to reduce cycle time and lead time for changes by at least 30%.

- Achieve zero critical defects and eliminate at least 80% of trivial code review findings.

- Accelerate code review latency by at least 70% using AI-generated diff summaries and risk flags.

What You Will Bring :

Must Have Experience :

- Production experience architecting and building with Java and Node.js or JavaScript for large-scale enterprise integrations.

- Deep, hands-on expertise with GenAI tooling such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, or Claude Code.

- A demonstrated growth mindset with a strong drive to apply AI software engineering concepts to daily workflows.

- A commitment to automated quality and experience driving test coverage using AI tools.

Nice to Have Experience :

- Previous exposure to highly distributed POS architectures or financial transaction processing within retail domains.

- Knowledge of EMEA fiscal compliance and reporting regulations.

- Experience tracking and reporting on delivery metrics, including pull request latency and cycle time reduction.
