Role Overview :

We are looking for an Director of Technology to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, cloud-based applications. You will play a key role in defining architecture, improving system performance, and guiding development teams to build robust enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using .NET Core, Microservices, and Cloud Technologies (Azure/AWS).

- Lead end-to-end solution design, covering frontend, backend, and database components.

- Guide and mentor development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, DevOps, and cloud-native architectures.

- Drive migration of legacy applications to cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.

- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and security of applications.

- Conduct performance tuning, security assessments, and API design improvements.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend their adoption for enhanced system efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 15+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years in an architectural role.

- Strong experience in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Microservices Architecture.

- Cloud expertise : Hands-on experience in Azure (Azure Service Bus, API Management, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, DevOps) OR AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation).

- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.

- Database expertise : Proficiency in SQL Server, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or NoSQL databases.

- Strong knowledge of API design, authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID, JWT), and integration patterns.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation).

- Good understanding of front-end technologies like Angular, React, or Blazor is a plus.

- Experience in event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis is desirable.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps best practices.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Azure or AWS Solution Architect Certification is a plus.

- Experience with AI/ML, edge computing, or low-code platforms (OutSystems, Power Apps) is beneficial.
