Why This Role Exists :

As Innovapptive continues to expand its AI-powered Connected Worker Platform, mobile applications play a critical role in delivering reliable, scalable, and intuitive experiences for industrial frontline workers.

We are looking for an Engineering Manager - Mobile to lead the evolution of our mobile engineering platform, driving technical excellence, engineering productivity, and consistent delivery across our mobile product portfolio. This role will partner closely with Product, Design, and Platform Engineering to strengthen our mobile architecture, establish engineering best practices, and enable the team to build high-quality applications that scale with our growing customer base.

As a player-coach, you will provide technical leadership while developing high-performing engineering teams, modernizing mobile development practices, and ensuring our mobile platform continues to meet the performance, reliability, and user experience expectations of global enterprise customers.

What You Own :

- Unified Mobile Platform: Engineers across native iOS/Android and React Native.

- Native track: manage sunset as customers migrate.

- Mobile release management.

- Sprint allocation: products consume mobile capacity via sprint planning.

- People: hiring, performance classification, coaching.

You Must Have :

- 8+ years mobile engineering with 3+ years managing mobile teams.

- Deep React Native expertise. Production RN apps at enterprise scale.

- Native iOS (Swift) AND Android (Kotlin/Java) experience.

- Track record of platform consolidation: merging codebases into a single trunk.

- Mobile CI/CD, automated testing, crash monitoring (Sentry/Firebase).

- Feature flags, sprint-based capacity allocation, shared component library architecture.

- Comfort with observability: Sentry crash-free dashboards, Mixpanel analytics, release health monitoring.

Nice to Have :

- SAP-integrated mobile applications or offline-first field operations apps.

- Sunsetting legacy mobile apps while maintaining production stability.

- AI-driven mobile features or agentic workflows.

- Industrial/enterprise mobile apps (energy, manufacturing, utilities).

Tech Stack & Tools :

- Mobile: React Native (primary), Swift (iOS), Kotlin/Java (Android)

- Backend: Node.js / TypeScript, MongoDB, RabbitMQ

- Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, GitLab CI/CD

- Observability: Sentry, Mixpanel, Realm (offline sync)

- Tools: GitLab, Jira, TestRail, SonarQube
