About the Team :

Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) is Innovapptive's technical team embedded directly with customers. You'll be part of a small, senior architecture group responsible for how the Innovapptive platform fits into each customer's enterprise landscape - from the first technical conversation through go-live and beyond.

The Opportunity :

As an Architect, you'll own the technical architecture for how Innovapptive integrates into a customer's enterprise environment - their ERP, their infrastructure, their security model. You'll be the technical thread on your accounts from the first conversation through production, not a pre-sales-only resource.

How You Will Make An Impact :

- Own technical architecture and enterprise fitment for assigned customer accounts

- Design integration, deployment, and security architecture spanning Innovapptive's platform and the customer's existing systems (SAP, IBM Maximo, middleware, identity/security, cloud infrastructure)

- Support technical evaluations for prospective customers, and stay engaged with the account through deployment and stabilization

- Partner closely with field engineering from the start of an engagement through go-live

- Participate in architecture governance and review processes to keep designs consistent across customers

- Make technical trade-off calls spanning our platform and customer environments

- Mentor engineers on architecture patterns as they deploy and support the platform in the field

What You Bring to the Team :

- 10+ years in enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, or technical pre-sales for complex B2B/enterprise software

- Deep experience with integration architecture - APIs, middleware, data pipelines - and enterprise systems such as SAP or IBM Maximo

- Working knowledge of identity, security, and network architecture in enterprise and cloud environments

- Comfortable owning technical decisions directly with customer architects and IT leadership

- Experience staying engaged with an account beyond the sales cycle - through deployment and stabilization

Nice to Have :

- Experience with industrial or asset-intensive customers (manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, EAM)

- Familiarity with mobile and offline-first application architecture
