Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Developer with extensive experience in database design, optimization, and performance tuning for web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in advanced T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases and related objects (stored procedures, functions, triggers).

- Optimize queries and indexes for high-performance web applications.

- Analyze and improve execution plans to ensure efficient query performance.

- Implement database design best practices, including normalization and indexing strategies.

- Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot database-related issues.

- Collaborate with application developers to ensure seamless integration between application and database.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.

- Document database structures, processes, and optimization strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 8 years of experience in SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, DB2).

- Strong proficiency in advanced T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and indexing.

- Expertise in query optimization, execution plans, and performance tuning for web applications.

- Solid understanding of database design principles and best practices.

- Experience with large-scale data environments and high-transaction systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with ETL tools and data integration.

- Familiarity with cloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS).

- Knowledge of reporting tools like Power BI or SSRS.
