The SAS Administrator is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting SAS platforms (SAS 9.x and/or SAS Viya). The role ensures system availability, performance, security, and compliance for analytics users across the organization.

Experience Required : 3 - 4 years of experience in SAS Administration in an enterprise environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain SAS 9.x and/or SAS Viya platforms.

- Administer SAS Metadata, user roles, libraries, and security access.

- Manage SAS servers, services, and job scheduling systems.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues.

- Perform platform upgrades, patches, and hot-fixes.

- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.

- Integrate SAS with databases, Active Directory/LDAP, and external systems.

- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.

- Provide L2/L3 support for SAS users and coordinate with infrastructure teams.

Technical Skills :

- SAS 9.x / SAS Viya Administration (9.3,9.4, 9.5 will work too)

- Linux Or Windows Server Administration

- SAS Management Console, Grid Manager, Metadata Server

- Job scheduling (LSF, cron, Control-M) anyone 1 will do

- Database connectivity (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) any 1 will do

- User authentication and authorization (LDAP/AD) either one will do

- Backup, DR, and monitoring tools

Education & Certifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

- SAS Certified Platform Administrator (preferred)

Shifts : Ready to work in US shifts- last log out 1 am (normally the shifts are till 10 PM)
