As an INGENIUM Developer, you will serve as a core technical contributor within our insurance technology practice, focusing on the maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of the INGENIUM platform.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and system architects, to translate complex insurance requirements into robust mainframe solutions.

Your work will directly impact the operational efficiency and reliability of large-scale insurance applications, ensuring seamless policy administration and data integrity for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain complex insurance application modules using INGENIUM to ensure high performance and system stability for end-users.

- Execute end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities, from requirement analysis and coding to rigorous testing and deployment.

- Optimize mainframe batch processes by refining JCL and COBOL code to improve overall system throughput and reduce processing times.

- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and root cause analysis on production issues to minimize downtime and maintain service level agreements.

- Integrate INGENIUM components with DB2 and CICS environments to ensure consistent data flow and secure transaction processing across the insurance ecosystem.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to document technical specifications and ensure that all developments align with industry standards and compliance requirements.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in INGENIUM development within a mainframe environment, supported by 2 to 8 years of hands-on experience.

- Strong technical command of COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

- Proven ability to perform complex troubleshooting and debugging in legacy insurance applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Solid understanding of SQL for data manipulation and reporting within mainframe-integrated databases.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a professional approach to communicating technical challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid or on-site environment in Gurgaon, maintaining high productivity and collaboration within a distributed team structure.

- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, reflecting a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
