Infosys - Technical Consultant - SAP Basis

Responsibilities :

- Administration and support of SAP BASIS environments across multiple SAP systems.

- Installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP systems.

- SAP Kernel upgrades, Support Package implementation, and patch management.

- SAP system refreshes, client copies, and transport management.

- Performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP applications and databases.

- User administration, role management, and security compliance.

- SAP HANA database administration and monitoring.

- SAP system startup/shutdown, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.

- Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation projects.

- Monitor system health and proactively resolve performance issues.

- Collaborate with functional, technical, infrastructure, and database teams.

- Ensure adherence to SLA commitments and operational excellence.

- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in SAP BASIS Administration.

- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP Solution Manager.

- Experience in SAP HANA Administration and database monitoring.

- Knowledge of SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.

- Expertise in Transport Management System (TMS) and Change Management processes.

- Experience in system copies, client copies, and landscape management.

- Knowledge of SAP security, user administration, and authorization concepts.

- Experience with backup and recovery procedures.

- Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.

- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting SAP environments.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for SAP workloads.

- Exposure to SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, and web dispatcher administration.

- Experience with monitoring tools and SAP EarlyWatch reports.
