Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant to design, implement, configure, and support enterprise master-data governance solutions. The candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to implement robust master-data processes, workflows, validations, and integrations across SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement SAP MDG solutions based on business and master-data requirements.

- Configure SAP MDG processes for various master-data domains such as Customer, Supplier, Material, Finance, and Business Partner.

- Develop and configure MDG data models, UI configurations, workflows, validations, and derivations.

- Configure change requests, approval workflows, and governance processes.

- Work on master-data creation, change, approval, replication, and consolidation processes.

- Configure business rules, validations, derivations, and data-quality checks.

- Work on SAP Business Partner and Customer/Supplier master-data processes.

- Support Material Master governance and related processes.

- Integrate SAP MDG with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other enterprise applications.

- Work on master-data replication using appropriate SAP integration technologies.

- Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Prepare functional and technical specifications for MDG enhancements.

- Develop or coordinate development of custom objects where required.

- Troubleshoot workflow, configuration, replication, and integration issues.

- Support testing activities including unit testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.

- Support production deployments, incidents, and enhancement requests.

- Participate in SAP MDG implementation, rollout, migration, and upgrade projects.

- Maintain solution documentation and provide technical guidance to team members.

- Ensure master-data solutions comply with governance, security, and organizational standards.

Required Skills :

- 5 - 10 years of experience in SAP MDG.

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG configuration and implementation.

- Experience with MDG data models and governance processes.

- Strong understanding of Change Request Management.

- Experience with MDG workflows, validations, derivations, and business rules.

- Experience with Customer, Supplier/Business Partner, Material, or Finance master data.

- Strong understanding of SAP Business Partner concepts.

- Experience integrating MDG with SAP ECC/S/4HANA.

- Knowledge of master-data replication and integration mechanisms.

- Good understanding of SAP ABAP concepts is preferred.

- Experience with BRF+ and workflow configuration.

- Good understanding of SAP master-data processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA MDG.

- Experience in MDG Central Governance.

- Exposure to MDG Consolidation or Data Quality.

- Knowledge of SAP BTP integration capabilities.

- Experience with large-scale global MDG implementations.

- SAP MDG certification is an advantage.
