We are looking for an experienced SAP BODS Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) to support enterprise data integration, ETL development, data migration, and data quality initiatives.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining data integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.

- Develop jobs, workflows, data flows, mappings, transformations, and reusable objects in SAP BODS.

- Integrate data from SAP and non-SAP source systems into target applications and data platforms.

- Work on data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading processes.

- Develop complex mappings and transformations based on business and technical requirements.

- Work with databases, flat files, APIs, and other data sources for data integration.

- Perform data migration activities using SAP BODS.

- Develop and maintain data quality and validation rules.

- Troubleshoot ETL failures, data discrepancies, performance issues, and job failures.

- Optimize BODS jobs and workflows for improved performance and scalability.

- Schedule and monitor batch jobs and ETL workflows.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.

- Analyze source-to-target mappings and prepare technical specifications.

- Work closely with functional teams, business analysts, data architects, and application teams.

- Prepare technical documentation, mapping documents, data-flow diagrams, and operational procedures.

- Support production deployments, incident resolution, and ongoing enhancements.

- Participate in data migration and modernization initiatives.

- Ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and data governance practices.

Required Skills :

- 5 - 10 years of experience in SAP BODS/Data Services.

- Strong hands-on experience in ETL development using SAP BODS.

- Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading concepts.

- Experience developing BODS jobs, workflows, data flows, mappings, and transformations.

- Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases.

- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Knowledge of data migration methodologies and best practices.

- Experience with data cleansing and data quality processes.

- Good understanding of source-to-target mapping.

- Experience with job scheduling and production monitoring.

- Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills.

- Good understanding of SDLC and deployment processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SAP ECC/S/4HANA data integration.

- Exposure to SAP BW or other enterprise data platforms.

- Knowledge of SAP Information Steward/Data Quality tools.

- Experience with large-scale data migration projects.

- Exposure to cloud data platforms and modern data integration technologies.
