Infosys - Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Job Description :

We are hiring an experienced Java Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. The ideal candidate will be part of the Infosys consulting team and will play a critical role across multiple phases of project delivery, from problem definition to solution deployment.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- A Day in the Life of an Infoscion

- Actively contribute to different phases of consulting engagements including problem definition, effort estimation, solution design, development, and deployment.

- Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.

- Perform research and analysis, including literature surveys, public domain information, and vendor evaluations, to explore alternative solutions.

- Design and develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate proposed solutions and architectural approaches.

- Create detailed requirement specifications, define to-be processes, and prepare functional and technical design documents based on business needs.

- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, ensuring high performance and scalability.

- Support solution configuration and implementation; identify issues, perform root-cause analysis, and propose effective resolution strategies.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

- Participate in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and delivery of high-quality, value-driven solutions.

- Work collaboratively in an agile environment and contribute to delivering impactful digital transformation solutions for clients.

Desired Skills & Competencies :

- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and enterprise application architecture.

- Experience working with RESTful APIs, databases, and distributed systems.

- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
