Role Overview :

As an Ab Initio Administrator at Infosys, you will be responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of our Ab Initio environments.

You will collaborate closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and project managers to ensure the availability, performance, and security of our Ab Initio platform.

Your work will directly impact the efficiency of our data processing pipelines and the delivery of critical business insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain Ab Initio software and related components for development, testing, and production environments, ensuring optimal performance and stability.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Ab Initio graphs, servers, and infrastructure, minimizing downtime and maximizing system availability.

- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures for Ab Initio environments, protecting sensitive data and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Manage user access and permissions within the Ab Initio environment, ensuring appropriate levels of access control and data security.

- Collaborate with development teams to optimize Ab Initio graph performance and resolve technical issues, improving the efficiency of data processing workflows.

- Develop and maintain documentation for Ab Initio environments, including installation guides, configuration procedures, and troubleshooting steps, facilitating knowledge sharing and efficient problem resolution.

- Plan and execute upgrades and patches to Ab Initio software, minimizing disruption to business operations and ensuring the platform remains up-to-date.

- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting and other tools, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.

Required Skillset :

- Proven ability to administer and maintain Ab Initio environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

- Demonstrated expertise in Ab Initio graph development and performance tuning.

- Strong understanding of system administration principles, including server management, networking, and security.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with development teams, infrastructure teams, and project managers.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad.
