Informatica Tester - ETL/Datawarehouse Testing

We are seeking a highly experienced Informatica Tester with strong expertise in ETL testing, PL/SQL, and scripting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of validating complex data integration workflows, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting large-scale enterprise projects. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- ETL Testing & Validation

- Perform end-to-end testing of Informatica workflows, mappings, and transformations.

- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes against business requirements.

- Database Testing

- Write and execute PL/SQL queries to verify data integrity and consistency.

- Perform regression, functional, and performance testing on Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

- Scripting & Automation

- Develop and maintain test scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

- Ensure efficient execution of test cases and reporting.

- Collaboration & Documentation

- Work closely with developers, data engineers, and business teams to understand requirements.

- Document test cases, test results, and defect reports.

- Participate in defect triage and provide root cause analysis.

- Quality Assurance

- Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices.

- Identify gaps in data processes and recommend improvements.

Qualifications :

- Experience : 8+ years in ETL/Data Warehouse testing, with a focus on Informatica.

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL tools.

- Proficiency in PL/SQL for data validation and query writing.

- Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

- Hands-on scripting experience (Shell, Python, or similar).

Other Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with defect management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, etc.).

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
