Job Description :

We are looking for a Senior Google Data Fusion Engineer to lead the migration of legacy IBM DataStage ETL workloads to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The role involves designing, building, optimizing, and supporting scalable data integration pipelines using Google Cloud Data Fusion and BigQuery.

The ideal candidate has strong ETL modernization experience, solid GCP knowledge, and hands-on expertise in cloud-native data engineering.

Key Responsibilities :

- Migrate IBM DataStage ETL jobs to Google Cloud Data Fusion

- Design and build cloud-native data pipelines on GCP

- Optimize pipelines for performance, cost, and scalability

- Implement data quality checks, validation, and error handling

- Integrate data from Oracle, PostgreSQL, SFTP, files, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production pipelines

- Good experience in Data governance and metadata tools

- Experience with GCP IAM, Cloud storage, PUB/SUB, Cloud logging, and monitoring.
