Infocepts - Generative AI Engineer - Augmented Reality

Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior AI Development Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable, production-grade AI systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python-based development, modern machine learning and large language model (LLM) architectures, and hands-on experience delivering real-world AI solutions in enterprise environments.

This role requires a strong blend of AI/ML engineering, software architecture, and cloud-native development, along with the ability to mentor engineers and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

AI & ML Solution Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Build and fine-tune LLM-based solutions using architectures such as GPT, BERT, T5, LLaMA, and similar models.

- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases and search engines such as FAISS, Elasticsearch, or equivalent.

- Develop and manage embedding pipelines and model fine-tuning workflows to support advanced AI use cases.

Agentic Workflows & Model Orchestration :

- Design and implement agent-based AI workflows and model orchestration frameworks for multi-step reasoning and automation.

- Integrate LLMs with tools, APIs, and external systems to enable intelligent decision-making pipelines.

Software Engineering & Architecture :

- Architect and build microservices-based AI platforms using best practices in API design and distributed systems.

- Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code for production environments.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of AI services.

Deployment, MLOps & Cloud Engineering :

- Package and deploy AI services using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML and LLM-based applications.

- Deploy and manage models using cloud platforms and ML services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, and alerting for AI and LLM services in production.

Data Engineering & Pipelines :

- Work with SQL and data pipelines to support feature engineering, inference workflows, and data-driven decision systems.

- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across AI pipelines.

Quality, Governance & Best Practices :

- Establish coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for AI development.

- Ensure AI systems are robust, secure, and maintainable.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across AI and distributed systems.

Leadership & Collaboration :

- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across AI development initiatives.

- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.

- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Expertise :

Technical Skills :

- Expert-level proficiency in Python and experience building scalable production applications.

- Strong hands-on experience with ML and data libraries: NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.

- Deep understanding of LLM architectures, embeddings, and fine-tuning techniques.

- Practical experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and semantic search.

- Experience with software architecture, API design, microservices, and distributed systems.

- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and model deployment tools.

- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Strong understanding of SQL, data pipelines, and inference workflows.

- Experience implementing automated testing and monitoring for ML/LLM services.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Masters degree is preferred.

- 5+ years of overall software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML applications.
