About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and passionate HPC (High-Performance Computing) Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python along with hands-on experience in HPC and distributed computing environments. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and scaling performance-critical applications used in data-intensive and compute-heavy workloads.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance applications using Python

- Work on large-scale distributed computing systems and HPC clusters

- Implement parallel computing techniques using frameworks such as MPI, OpenMP, or CUDA

- Optimize code for performance, scalability, and efficiency across CPU and GPU architectures

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex computational problems

- Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements

- Work with job schedulers like Slurm or PBS for workload management

- Contribute to algorithm development for data-intensive and scientific computing applications

- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and documentation standards

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of overall experience in software development

- Minimum 4+ years of experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC)

- At least 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in Python programming

- Experience with parallel computing frameworks such as MPI, OpenMP, or CUDA

- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cluster computing

- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and system-level programming

- Experience in performance tuning, multithreading, and optimization techniques

- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and numerical computing

- Familiarity with HPC job schedulers like Slurm or PBS

Good to Have :

- Experience with C/C++ for performance-critical modules

- Exposure to GPU computing and acceleration techniques

- Knowledge of cloud-based HPC environments

- Background in scientific computing or engineering domains
