InfoBeans Technologies - Blue Yonder Consultant - Warehouse Management System

Description :

We are looking for an experienced Blue Yonder Consultant with strong expertise in Blue Yonder WMS (Discrete 2022/2023) to lead and support warehouse management implementations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end WMS deployment, business process mapping, configuration, testing, integration, and post-go-live support within supply chain and logistics environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end implementation of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.

- Configure and customize Blue Yonder WMS (Discrete 2022/2023) modules as per business requirements.

- Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend best practices for warehouse process improvements.

- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for custom development requirements.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, warehouse operations teams, and IT teams to understand current warehouse processes and future business needs.

- Gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements.

- Translate business requirements into scalable WMS solutions.

- Configure and optimize warehouse processes across :

1. Inbound Operations : Receiving, ASN processing, putaway, quality checks, dock scheduling.

2. Outbound Operations : Order allocation, picking strategies, packing, shipping, wave planning.

3. Inventory Management : Cycle counting, replenishment, stock adjustments, lot/batch tracking, serial number management.

4. Warehouse Execution : Task management, labor management, RF device workflows, automation integrations.

- Support integrations between Blue Yonder WMS and external systems such as :

1. ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)

2. TMS systems

3. Automation systems (conveyors, ASRS, sorters, robotics)

- Collaborate with technical teams for interface design, middleware setup, and troubleshooting.

Testing & Deployment :

- Prepare and execute :

1. Unit Testing

2. System Integration Testing (SIT)

3. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

- Support defect tracking, issue resolution, and release management.

- Manage go-live activities and post-implementation stabilization.

Training & Support :

- Conduct end-user training sessions and prepare training documentation/SOPs.

- Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution.

- Assist support teams in incident management and system enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in Blue Yonder WMS implementation/support.

- Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS Discrete 2022/2023.

- Strong understanding of warehouse and supply chain processes.

- Experience in WMS configuration for inbound, outbound, inventory, and warehouse operations.

- Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting preferred.

- Strong experience in integration with ERP/TMS systems.
