Infinite Computer Solutions - Senior Delivery Director

We are currently hiring for an experienced Delivery Lead to oversee and guide a team of IT professionals in delivering complex IT projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of experience in IT project management, demonstrating a strong background in team leadership, client communication, and project delivery.

This is a key role that combines technical expertise, strategic leadership, and excellent client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership :

- Lead and manage a team of 20 IT professionals, including developers, business analysts, and QA testers, ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals and objectives.

- Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance evaluations for team members, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment.

- Promote a culture of continuous learning, skill development, and innovation within the team.

Project Management :

- Lead the delivery of complex IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, defining key deliverables, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring all project milestones are met.

Client Communications :

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing all aspects of communication throughout the project lifecycle.

- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their expectations are met and exceeded.

- Provide regular status updates to clients and address concerns promptly, ensuring clear and transparent communication at all stages.

Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external vendors to ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Effectively manage relationships with stakeholders, providing clear visibility into project performance and addressing any potential risks or issues.

Risk and Issue Management :

- Identify potential risks to project success and develop strategies to mitigate those risks early in the project lifecycle.

- Proactively resolve project issues, escalating to senior management as needed to ensure timely resolutions.

Continuous Improvement :

- Lead post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects.

- Foster a culture of process improvement and share best practices across teams to enhance overall delivery performance.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

- A master's degree is a plus.

Experience :

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing teams of 15+ people.

- Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

- Extensive experience in client communications, managing expectations, and aligning project objectives with business needs.

Skills :

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on building high-performing teams.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Deep understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project, Asana).

- Advanced problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.

Certifications :

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Agile/Scrum certifications are required.

- Additional certifications related to IT or project management are a plus.
