Infineon - Principal Engineer - Cloud Architecture

Job Description :

In your new role you will :

- Cloud Solution Design and Implementation : Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services, including : EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and other AWS services.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.

- Cloud Infrastructure Management : Manage AWS environments, including :

a. Setup, monitoring, and optimization of AWS resources.

b. Ensuring cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.

c. Code Development and Maintenance : Write and maintain robust, clean, and efficient code, including :

- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js.

- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.

- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and infrastructure, including :

- Identifying and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment.

- Collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams, IT operations, to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions.

- Cloud Security and Compliance : Ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards, including :

- Strong knowledge of cloud security practices and infrastructure management.

- Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

- Cost Analysis and Budget Management : Assist in cost analysis and budget management for AWS resources, including :

- Analyzing costs and providing recommendations for cost optimization.

- Collaborating with business leads and product owners to understand solution requirements and identify and implement scalable, secure architectural patterns.

- Staying Current with AWS Services : Stay current with new AWS services and features, and recommend improvements to existing architecture, including :

- Researching and evaluating new AWS services and features.

- Providing recommendations for improvements to existing architecture.

Your Profile :

You are best equipped for this task if you have :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in software development with a focus on AWS cloud services.

- Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.

- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js.

- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of cloud security practices and infrastructure management.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Good understanding of databases (e.g. MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g. Elasticsearch, etc).
