We are looking for a Senior Azure Data Engineer with strong client engagement experience to drive data engineering solutions on the Azure platform. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and the ability to work closely with clients to understand requirements, propose scalable solutions, and lead implementation efforts.

Key Responsibilities :

- Engage with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions

- Architect, design, and implement end-to-end data engineering solutions on Azure

- Lead development and optimization of data pipelines using Azure Databricks and PySpark

- Design and implement data ingestion and orchestration workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF)

- Establish and manage data governance frameworks using Unity Catalog

- Develop reusable components and frameworks using Python packaging best practices

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data platforms using Log Analytics and KQL

- Provide technical leadership, best practices, and mentorship to engineering teams

- Participate in solution discussions, estimations, and proposals for client engagements

- Ensure high standards of data quality, security, and performance

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Azure Data Factory (ADF)

- Proficiency in Python, including packaging and modular development

- Experience with Unity Catalog for data governance and access control

- Expertise in Log Analytics and KQL (Kusto Query Language)

- Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT frameworks, and cloud data platforms

Client-Facing Expectations :

- Proven experience in client interactions, requirement gathering, and solution articulation

- Ability to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Experience in handling multiple stakeholders across geographies

- Strong communication, presentation, and consulting skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in designing enterprise-scale data platforms on Azure

- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery models

- Exposure to presales activities such as solutioning, estimations, and RFP responses
