Salesforce Lead - Technical Architect:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Salesforce Lead - Technical Architect to drive the design and implementation of enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions, with a focus on platform architecture, custom development, system integrations, and AI-powered capabilities through Salesforce Agentforce.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce technologies, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs. The successful candidate will lead development initiatives, establish engineering standards, guide technical teams, and ensure reliable deployments across Salesforce environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define Salesforce solution architecture and technical designs based on business requirements, scalability needs, and platform capabilities.

- Lead the development of custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce Flows.

- Design and implement advanced automation and asynchronous processing using Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Future Methods.

- Develop AI-enabled Salesforce solutions using Agentforce, integrating intelligent agent capabilities into relevant business workflows.

- Architect and deliver solutions across Salesforce clouds, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, and Revenue Cloud Advanced.

- Design secure integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, OAuth authentication, and JSON/XML data exchange.

- Define data migration, transformation, and ETL approaches to maintain data integrity across connected systems.

- Establish reusable development patterns, coding standards, and technical guidelines to ensure maintainability and platform performance.

- Conduct code reviews, evaluate technical designs, and mentor developers on Salesforce development practices and architectural decisions.

- Manage source control and deployment workflows using Git, GitHub/GitLab, Salesforce CLI, VS Code, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Develop and oversee unit, integration, and system testing strategies to ensure solution quality before release.

- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures to improve system stability and user experience.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the development and release lifecycle.

- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating Salesforce platform updates, emerging technologies, and opportunities to optimize existing implementations.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development, technical design, and solution delivery.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce configuration, Apex programming, Lightning Web Components, and declarative automation.

- In-depth knowledge of Apex Classes and Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, Salesforce Flows, Platform Events, and asynchronous Apex processing.

- Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and structured data formats such as JSON and XML.

- Knowledge of Salesforce data migration, ETL processes, and integration architecture.

- Experience with Salesforce security, platform limitations, debugging, performance optimization, and development best practices.

- Proficiency with Git-based version control, Salesforce CLI, VS Code, and CI/CD-based deployment processes.

- Experience with Agile software development and continuous integration practices.

- Ability to lead technical discussions, review code, mentor developers, and make architecture-level decisions.

- Exposure to Salesforce Agentforce and AI-driven application development.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

- Exposure to CPQ and Revenue Cloud Advanced implementations.

- Experience with middleware or enterprise integration platforms.

- Familiarity with Salesforce Workflow Rules, Approval Processes, Custom Metadata Types, and platform automation.

- Experience designing scalable, secure solutions for complex enterprise environments.

- Understanding of AI agent integration and the application of Salesforce AI capabilities to business processes.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
