Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced IBM WTX / ITX Developer with strong hands-on expertise in EDI integration and IBM WTX Launcher. The ideal candidate should have experience with IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) 8.4 or IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), along with a good understanding of EDI standards and integration processes.

The candidate will develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integration solutions that support reliable exchange and transformation of business data between systems. This role requires problem-solving skills, the ability to understand integration requirements, and effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain integration solutions using IBM WTX 8.4 or IBM ITX based on business requirements.

- Work with IBM WTX Launcher to manage and support integration execution and processing.

- Design and maintain data maps and transformation logic for exchanging information between applications and external systems.

- Work with EDI standards and formats to enable accurate and reliable data exchange across business partners and systems.

- Analyse integration requirements and translate them into appropriate mapping, transformation, and processing solutions.

- Configure and support integration workflows, ensuring data is processed according to defined business rules and technical specifications.

- Monitor integration processes, identify execution issues, and troubleshoot failures or data transformation errors.

- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes to prevent recurring issues.

- Support maintenance, enhancements, and updates to WTX / ITX integration solutions.

- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify integration dependencies, and resolve issues.

- Perform unit testing and support integration testing to validate mapping logic, data transformation, and end-to-end processing.

- Maintain documentation covering integration flows, mapping logic, configurations, issues, and resolutions.

- Follow development and change management practices to ensure the stability, quality, and reliability of integration solutions.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Minimum 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience in IBM WTX / ITX development.

- Strong practical experience with IBM WTX Launcher.

- Good knowledge of EDI standards, formats, and integration processes.

- Experience working with IBM WTX 8.4 or IBM ITX.

- Experience developing, maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting integration solutions.

- Understanding of data mapping, transformation logic, and application-to-application integration.

- Ability to analyse technical issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions.

- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.

- Ability to manage tasks independently while contributing to reliable integration delivery.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge or exposure to SAP S/4HANA integration.

- Experience supporting integrations involving SAP systems or enterprise applications will be an added advantage.
