Role Overview :

As an IBM OMS QA professional at SAP Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of IBM Order Management System (OMS) implementations. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to define test strategies, create test plans, execute test cases, and identify and track defects. Your work will directly impact the successful deployment and smooth functioning of OMS solutions, enabling our clients to efficiently manage their order processing and fulfillment operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications to ensure thorough coverage of IBM OMS functionalities.

- Execute test cases, analyze test results, and identify defects, providing detailed and accurate bug reports to the development team.

- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to troubleshoot and resolve defects, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality deliverables.

- Participate in test automation efforts, creating and maintaining automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.

- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not introduce new issues or negatively impact existing functionalities.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies, recommending and implementing best practices to enhance testing effectiveness.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex software applications, specifically IBM Order Management System (OMS).

- Proven expertise in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, utilizing bug tracking systems and collaborating with development teams for resolution.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including black box testing, white box testing, regression testing, and performance testing.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex systems and identify potential issues.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and project managers.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is highly desirable.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
