Your Role and Responsibilities :

The Head of Data Analytics is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the analytics strategy across IBMs client engagements. The role requires a leader with deep technical expertise as well as the ability to align analytics outcomes with business strategy and deliver measurable business impact.

Your primary responsibilities include :

- Developing and leading the overall data and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with client business goals and IBM objectives.

- Driving initiatives across Power BI, SQL, data science, and advanced analytics technologies to deliver actionable insights.

- Translating complex data into meaningful business narratives and influencing executive-level decision-making.

- Managing stakeholder expectations across business and technology functions while ensuring successful delivery of analytics programs.

- Leading and mentoring diverse, high-performing teams of analytics professionals.

- Establishing best practices in analytics, reporting, and visualization, ensuring scalability and governance.

- Driving adoption of modern data platforms and AI/ML capabilities to create competitive advantage.

- Presenting strategic insights and recommendations to leadership, ensuring analytics supports business transformation initiatives.

Required Experience :

- 15+ years of experience in Data Analytics with proven leadership in building and scaling analytics functions.

- Strong technical expertise in Power BI, SQL, Data Science frameworks, and related tools.

- Demonstrated ability to translate data into business insights and align analytics initiatives with strategic goals.

- Strong stakeholder management skills and proven experience working with senior executives.

- A successful track record of leading cross-functional analytics teams and delivering business outcomes.

Preferred Experience :

- Experience in AI/ML, advanced analytics, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

- Exposure to enterprise-wide analytics transformations and data governance initiatives.

- Relevant certifications in analytics, data science, or program management.

Required Education : Bachelors degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Business, or related field.

Preferred Education : Masters Degree (MBA, Data Science, or related discipline).
