iAM Developer/Engineer - ForgeRock

Description :

IAM Solution Development :

- Design, develop, and implement secure IAM solutions using ForgeRock or Transmit Security platforms.

- Develop and maintain authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management workflows.

- Build scalable microservices-based IAM applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Configure and integrate IAM solutions with enterprise systems and applications.

Security & Authentication:

- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using :

a. OAuth2

b. OpenID Connect (OIDC)

c. SAML

d. JWT

- Ensure secure API communication and API security best practices.

- Manage identity federation, Single Sign-On (SSO), and access management solutions.

Integration & Directory Services :

- Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, and third-party platforms.

- Work with LDAP and directory services for user management and authentication.

- Support identity synchronization, provisioning, and de-provisioning processes.

Performance & Operational Excellence :

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of IAM systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related technical and security issues.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

- Collaborate with architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in software development and IAM solutions

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture

- Hands-on experience with ForgeRock (AM, IDM, DS) or Transmit Security

- Good understanding of IAM concepts and security frameworks

- Strong knowledge of :

a. OAuth2

b. OpenID Connect (OIDC)

c. SAML

d. JWT

- Experience with API Security and RESTful Services

- Hands-on experience with LDAP / Directory Services

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Experience with API Gateways such as Apigee, Kong, etc.

- Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain

- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools
