Description :
HIL Engineer to support validation and verification activities for automotive embedded systems using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) platforms. The role involves developing, configuring, and executing automated test setups to ensure ECU functionality, system robustness, and compliance with automotive standards.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with dSPACE and Vector tools in an OEM or Tier-1 automotive environment.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain HIL test setups using dSPACE platforms (e.g., SCALEXIO, MicroLabBox).
- Design and execute automated test cases for ECU validation.
- Configure and use Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, VT System) for network simulation and diagnostics.
- Develop test scripts using Python, CAPL, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Perform system integration testing and fault injection testing.
- Analyze test results, debug issues, and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE processes.
- Support continuous improvement of test automation frameworks.
Required Skills :
- Strong experience with dSPACE HIL systems.
- Proficiency in Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL scripting).
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay).
- Understanding of embedded systems and V-Model development process.
- Experience in test automation and scripting.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors / Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering.
- Experience in ADAS, EV, powertrain, or body control domains.
- Familiarity with functional safety (ISO 26262).
